Active Learning Consulting was founded in order to assist schools to become more dynamic, creative, and devolved places of learning.
A revolution in artificial intelligence is well underway, one which will have rapid and far-reaching implications for our students' personal lives, civic engagement and professions.
While we can imagine that many of today's jobs will simply cease to exist, it is more difficult to predict what will replace them. Nor can we know what knowledge will be necessary for students ten or 20 years from now. As educators we need to equip our students with the skills and dispositions to remain agile and adaptable.
Active Learning Consulting aims to assist teachers and administrators make the transition to the more open-ended teaching and learning that students urgently require. This does not require extensive resources, nor does it mean deviating from the national curriculum.
By breaking down active learning into 7 key elements, schools can encourage their students to be more engaged, collaborative and autonomous in their learning, while still meeting their curriculum obligations under the national curriculum.
Active Learning Consulting is designed to help teachers and administrators make the transition to the type of flexible teaching and learning that their students urgently need. This does not require extensive resources and does not mean deviating from the National Curriculum.
